Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to inform you about the 10th International Conference on Neural Transplantation and Repair (INTR-10) which took place from September 10-13, 2008 in Freiburg, Germany.
The programme has continued in our “INTR tradition” focussing on experimental studies and clinical applications of cellular and restorative therapies for the treatment of neurological diseases and has highlighted the current progress of basic and clinical science in the highly dynamic field of neurorestoration and its intensive interdisciplinary exchange with related areas, such as gene therapy, neuroimaging and developmental neurobiology. Leading scientists and clinicians have addressed key issues in this translational field of research, accompanied by many young scientists that have presented their ongoing research.
